Photo Hunt - Strings

DSC_6299-Edit-Edit

bydamanti

This scene caught my eye while in Alexandria, Virginia...children tethered together on a rope...I'm calling it a string today.  I'm told that this is a scene repeated numerous times every day.  It seemed that way.  I think I was the only one around to have given it a second look.

look at that little girl in the hat 2nd from end - ha ha cuteness supreme cuteness and a marvelous STRING!!!

What an interesting photo! Don't think I've ever seen a sight like this in real life! :o

Lovely shot.

Really enjoy your blog...fantastic photos :)

this is somehow similar to my take. how lovely are tiny kids in queue with a string!

LOVE IT! Slightly similar to my contribution. Thanks for sharing!!!

If I had to get that many kids across the street in that NOVA traffic, I'd probably do it exactly the same way.

Great shot, BTW!

I would have done a double-take if I'd seen that too! Pretty cute and I guess it keeps them safe, LOL. Have a nice weekend!

This is just too good! I love the whole concept of this for the week's theme. You did an excellent job.

My strings are strung and strummed...stop by if you can find time. Happy Hunting!

What a lovely photo! Never seen that before either!

I love this photo, June. It's funny that most of the children are staring at the motorcycle--they seem fascinated with it. Very creative interpretation of the "Strings" theme.

Oh how cute! If I had seen it I would have stopped to watch.

June - What a great shot! I've seen a scene like this before, too, though not sure where... I remember thinking that it's better than putting 'em on a leash... though I'll bet I'll run across one of those, today, too. :-)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

How sweet is that! :)

great take, you have strings and a string of really cute kids

This is too cute! I think it fits for string. I'm lovin' those little tykes, especially little mama in the hat. :-D

He he thats a great shot, well captured!
Thanks for visiting mine :-)

That is cute! :) Thank you for stopping by my post

It just goes to show 7 out of 10 kids are more interested in a scooter than a teacher so that string is a good idea, lol.

Too cute!!

(Thanks for the visit and comments earlier)

Yep - we see this often in all our close-in neighborhoods. I worked in Georgetown for 9 years, and watched the little kiddie-trains almost every day on my lunch walk.

Now that is just too, too cute! I love how most of them are enthralled with the motorcyclist. Perfect stringy photo, June.

Thanks for visiting the creek - may your weekend be filled with delights!

Oh my! How very sweet is that! I like it...

What a sweet sweet shot!! They are soooo cute! And a fabulous take on "string".

It looks like it would be a great safety feature and it does keep them in tow. A great string presentation!

This one is so cute and very different. Very creative take on the theme of string.

I recently snapped a photo of a Walmart worker pushing a half mile long line of carts. This line is much nicer.
