Well, I didn't even have to wait until I picked blackberries...I got poison ivy just cleaning up our road. At first I thought it was going to stay localized on my right forearm, but now, two days later it's emerged on my neck and other arm some. My entire back itches, though so far no rash there. Ugh. Pass me a Benedryl...
Poison ivy????? Never heard of it but it sounds itchy...... Feel sorry for you! Hope it will be over quick.

Here's info about my hot-water "cure" that stops my itching for about three hours. It works better for me than anything I have ever bought. I'm so sorry you're itchy.

I don't think the doctors like it much but I use a mix of water and bleach on my poison oak/poison ivy sometimes with good results. Or just go swimming in a pool filled with chlorine. That sometimes helps, too.
Feel better.

yipes - darn when I was May Queen grade 1 Sammy Ritter rubbed it all over me- I was the calamine queen but that never worked much . I use scalpicin when anything itches. I put it on my scalp in addition to Sarna, benadryll all of it and it cools my nervous center down.Benadryll sleep , coling oat meal baths etc. Sorry to hear it.- mosquitoes have my number.

Poor baby! I hope it doesn't spread any more. I keep hoping I don't run into something like that while out taking shots.

Have you tried the zantec or the technu? Really, they work miracles...

I hope it gets better soon....if it does not....you may want to ask for a blster pack of prednisone (sp?) When my son gets it, we have to get that to clear it up.
