Leave the husk on.
Place in the microwave.
Cook 1 1/2 minutes for each ear you put in.
Let sit a few minutes after.
Remove husk...you'll be amazed at how easy it comes off.
Enjoy!
It's that easy...and it's good.

You can also remove the husk and then wrap it in wax paper prior to microwaving. Add some butter before you wrap it up.

Oh yeah! We do this all the time. I do it a little longer than you, at around 10-12 minutes for 3-4 years at a time.
A summer staple:
3 years of corn microwave steamed
Scrape the corn off the cob into a bowl
Toss in a diced red pepper
Toss in diced green pepper
- Whatever else you have on hand like some diced tomatoes, sweet tomato, etc.
Toss in a handful of diced cilantro
Squeeze the juice of about 4 limes over the mix
Mix well, sale, and serve with chips.
